Let me start by informing our esteemed readership that FUTURE SEARCH was founded in 1993 as a Government Social Safety Net, under the headship of the Permanent Secretary Public Service Management Division (PSMD) Cabinet Office.

The PROJECT was given the mandate to cushion the negative impact of sudden loss of formal employment and income for public sector redirected employees. The project implements its mandate through the following preferences, Social and Financial counseling, training in Job Search techniques, Entrepreneurship/Business development .Future Search training has now captured a wider section of the Zambian community. The demands placed on it have over shot its original commissioning and expectations.
